Jatinegara Barat Flat Prepared for Kampung Pulo Residents

Head of Jakarta Housing and Government Buildings Department, Ika Lestari Adji mentioned residents of Kampung Pulo, Kampung Melayu Urban Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, could already occupy the Jatinegara Barat Flat. 

238 households already have the key. Then 142 households have moved their belongings to the flat and 78 others have occupied the flat

Relaying on the latest data, only 429 out of 520 residents had taken the flat key through raffling phase.

Djarot Appealed Kampung Pulo Residents to Be Relocated

She added, since the beginning, Jatinegara Flat was prepared for Kampung Pulo residents. The total of households is in accordance with data from Land Procurement Committee (P2T) for East Jakarta Administration.

According to her, residents should be relocated because they have been occupying the government land for decades in Kampung Pulo.

"We hope residents will immediately take the key and occupy flat. They were also warned that we would help them to move their belongings," Lestari uttered.
